He was a Vampire. She was a Vampire Slayer. That doesn't sound like a very good match, but for Buffy and Angel it worked. The two grow close very early in the shows run. When they finally do the deed, he loses his soul and becomes Angelus. Even thought they knew it was forbidden to seal the deal, they loved each other so much they did it anyway. True love like that put this hot couple at the #8 spot.
