Stars to Exit "Parks and Recreation"

It has been confirmed that Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe will be exiting the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation this coming season. Their departure will occur during February sweeps. There was no reason as to why the actors are leaving but their characters will most likely be written off together because they are trying to have a baby. Jones has been with the show since it debuted in 2009, while Lowe joined the cast at the end of the second season. Lowe also departed both The West Wing and Brothers and Sisters before they ended. Parks and Recreation's 6th season will premiere on September 26th.

TV News

Glee will not be cancelled. The show had a slight delay in production so the cast and crew had time to grief after the death of star Cory Monteith. Had Lea Michele, who plays main character Rachel Berry, chose to leave the show, production would have ended completely. Show creator Ryan Murphy did not want to proceed without her.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will be making a move to the new channel FXX when it returns this fall for a ninth season. Star Glenn Howerton, who plays Dennis, admitted that the tenth season will be the shows last. The cast and crew want to leave on a high note.

Booth and Brennan (David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel) will tie the knot in season 9. Also, it is a high probability that the show will be back for a tenth season. When we last saw the couple, Booth had to call off their engagement in fear of serial killer Pelante killing innocent people.

Mondays with Monica

After a long weekend of vacationing, I am back and have BB2's Monica Bailey here to answer another question!

Who is playing the best game so far this season?

To be honest, so far no one is playing the game. I don't know where they got some of those people. They are a HOT MESS! I am really disappointed at all of the racist and derogatory comments. A few of them might as well keep their keys and make the BB house their new residence! "IT'S ON" when they get out!

Mondays with Monica

Every Monday, Monica Bailey from Big Brother 2 will answer a question about her experiences living in the Big Brother house and also weigh in on this season's contestants.

What was the audition process like for you?

"The audition process was very interesting and long. I saw an ad in the Daily News about a new show. You had to go to CBS.com to get the application and send in a 2 minute VHS tape! Once they liked what they saw, I had an audition at CBS Studios in Manhattan. I was then selected as a semi-finalist and flown out to L.A. The next audition was in front of about 10 people. This was being taped. I handled my business. Questions were coming from left and right! There was also a psychological test done and a physical. It was intense. It's been 12 years and I still remember it."

Top TV Best Friends: #13

After a brief hiatus, Top TV Friends Countdown is back. Today is lucky number thirteen. People have said you find your life-long friends in college. That seems to be the case with Ted Mosby and Marshall Erikson. The two became inseparable when they started rooming together in college. So much so, that the two continued to live together for many years after receiving their degrees. Who wouldn't want to be friends with the people who have coined terms like "Slapsgiving" and "Slutty Pumpkin" and hold interventions to stop each other from doing annoying or absurd things. Only your best friend is allowed to tell you to stop being annoying!

Fall TV First Look: "The Blacklist"

Title: The Blacklist

Network: NBC

Premise: One of the FBI's most wanted fugitives turns himself in under the condition that he will catch a once thought dead terrorist by only associating with a new FBI profiler.
Going For It: The Voice is this show's lead-in and is NBC's #1 show.
Against It: Castle (fan favorite) and Hostages (new on CBS) air at the same time
Overall Grade: B+
How Long Will It Last: NBC needs new shows to perform well. If this show finds an audience, I could see this lasting a few seasons depending on how long they can keep the storyline going.

Direct TV users will be able to sample the network for free for two weeks. It will then cost $4.99/month. That may seem like a lot, but so does buying a new $500 couch after Rover tears the old one apart when you leave him home alone for the day.
