ABC has confirmed that season four is already being filmed for the Summer reality show
Extreme Weight Loss. The fourth season will feature thirteen 2-hour long episodes focusing on an obese person's quest to lose weight. The lengthy production schedule is the reason ABC made an early decision to bring the show back. The entire year long process is filmed in order to track the person's progress. Chris Powell will return as host and trainer. The first 90-days of each participants treatment will take place at University of Colorado's Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. Dr. Holly Wyatt will work with Powell. Currently
