Selma Blair gets the axe from "Anger Management"
Just days before her 41st birthday, Selma Blair was fired from the FX sitcom Anger Management. The actress was let go by request of her co-star Charlie Sheen. Blair complained to producers that Sheen was constantly late to the set and had a poor work ethic. The complaints were leaked to Sheen who threatened to walk if the actress didn't get canned. Reports are claiming Blair received the news via a text message from Sheen himself. There are also reports surfacing that other cast members were also annoyed with Sheen's working habits, but Blair was the most vocal about it. Anger Management is currently in its 2nd season which is slated to air 90 episodes through 2014. Season 1 aired in 2012 and had a 10 episode run. Blair had filmed roughly 55 episodes before getting fired. Sheen is interested in hiring Mila Kunis for 10 episodes as a replacement to Blair.
