Selma Blair gets the axe from "Anger Management"

Just days before her 41st birthday, Selma Blair was fired from the FX sitcom Anger Management. The actress was let go by request of her co-star Charlie Sheen. Blair complained to producers that Sheen was constantly late to the set and had a poor work ethic. The complaints were leaked to Sheen who threatened to walk if the actress didn't get canned. Reports are claiming Blair received the news via a text message from Sheen himself. There are also reports surfacing that other cast members were also annoyed with Sheen's working habits, but Blair was the most vocal about it.  Anger Management is currently in its 2nd season which is slated to air 90 episodes through 2014. Season 1 aired in 2012 and had a 10 episode run. Blair had filmed roughly 55 episodes before getting fired. Sheen is interested in hiring Mila Kunis for 10 episodes as a replacement to Blair.

Does Summer TV Make the Grade?

The Summer TV Season is upon us. What was once rerun city has turned into a world of new dramas and lots of reality TV. Here is a review of a few of the new ones.

Motive Thursday at 9 PM ABC
In this crime drama, the audience knows who the killer is before the investigators. We get to see what lead the killer to commit such a heinous crime and eventually see the cops solve the murder. The concept is new and fresh, but the story lines need a little more depth. Grade: B-

Mistresses Monday at 10 PM ABC
Mistresses is very similar to past girlfriend dramas like Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle. Don't remember those? Most people don't. The most exciting moments from episode one were the previews for the rest of this season, which actually looks pretty appetizing. Grade: C

Brooklyn DA Tuesday at 10 PM CBS
This reality show follows the lives of some District Attorneys in New York and their cases. The opening episode followed a DA working a sex traffic case and another trying to catch an art thief. The job of a DA sounds exciting, but not enough for me to want to continue watching. Grade: C-

Does Someone Have to Go? Thursday 9 PM FOX
Wouldn't you love the chance to fire the laziest and meanest employees? The companies that are showcased on this reality show are doing just that. Employees decide who gets to stay and who gets to go. It makes for exciting TV and I can't wait to see who doesn't make the cut. Grade: A

Top TV Best Friends: #14

Anyone who grew up during the 90's watched TGIF. So it's no surprise that Cory Matthews and Shawn Hunter made this list. Cory and Shawn were friends their entire school careers, and even went to college together and shared a dorm. Like any best friends, they did get into an occasional fight. You know these two are still best buds and we may even get to see what their relationship is like today in the Boy Meets World spin-off titled Girl Meet World

Top TV Best Friends: #15

It is time to start another Top List. This time the focus will be on best friends. It was hard to narrow the list down to 10 so I have complied the top 15. Enjoy!

Everyone should have a "person". That "person" would be there whenever you need them and help you through the hard times. Dr. Meredith Grey and Dr. Cristina Yang have been through a shooter in the hospital, deaths of their coworkers, and a plane crash. I would hate to think what may have happened to these two if they didn't have each other. It is hard for both of these women let people into their lives. TV viewers are happy they let one another be their "person."

Let's Rate Some Season Finales

The 2012-2013 TV Season ended only a month ago. Here I will grade some of the finales:

Community - This season was definitely not this comedy's best. This most likely had to do with the exit of writer and producer Dan Harmon. With so many crazy story lines, it was no surprise the finale featured an alternate world with alternate characters. Grade: D-

The Good Wife - Not only did Peter win the title of Governor, but Alicia made a surprising move to join Carey at the law firm he is creating with the other associates at Lockhart and Gardener. We still don't know if Alicia will choose Will, but that is what Season 5 is for. Grade: A -

Modern Family - The gang travels to Florida after the Phil's mother passes away. The story line did not advance but their were some very touching moments including Phil trying to set up his father from the request of his mother and Alex reading the note her grandmother left. Grade: B

TV Actor Profile: Josh Radnor

Date of Birth: July 29, 1974
Age: 38

The moment you have all been waiting for has finally arrived. The #1 Top TV Couple is none other than Eric and Tami Taylor from Friday Night Lights.
